Each print begins outdoors, where a photographic image develops directly onto a living leaf using sunlight and chlorophyll. The result is a one of a kind piece that fades, shifts and ages the way the plant itself would.
A note on natural fading
Because each print is made from a real, living leaf rather than synthetic materials, some change over time is natural and expected, even with proper care. I do everything I can on my end to slow this down, but how a piece ages can also depend on light exposure, humidity, and the environment it's kept in, which is ultimately out of my hands once it leaves the studio.
If your print fades significantly within the first 6 months under normal display conditions, please reach out. I look at these on a case by case basis and will always try to make it right.
